By the time we are 60 years old, we will have slept for 20 years
of our lives. This means that one-third of our relationship with
God takes place while we sleep. In this incredibly insightful
conversation with Ben Armstrong, Prophetic Ministries Director at
Bethel Church, you will learn just how essential our night season
is for building intimacy with God. Once you begin to live your life
through this lens, your life will be transformed.

“We dream not just to have nuggets of wisdom but to be connected to
the Source of all wisdom.” - Ben Armstrong
By the time we are 60 years old, we will have slept for 20 years of
our lives. This means that one-third of our relationship with God
takes place while we sleep. In this incredibly insightful
conversation with Ben Armstrong, Prophetic Ministries Director at
Bethel Church, you will learn just how essential our night season
is for building intimacy with God.
The night season is for rest and intimacy. This is one of Ben’s
greatest passions: the conversation we are able to have with God
while we sleep. He explains that in Hebrew culture, the day starts
in the evening from a place of rest. When you sleep, your spirit is
still awake and aware of the things of God. Therefore, you can
learn to develop and steward a continual conversation with God
while you sleep. Once you begin to live your life through this
lens, your life will be transformed.
At night is when God can bypass our rational minds and logical
thinking and instead speak to us spirit-to-spirit. This is
something that is available to everyone because everyone has the
capacity to dream. We can’t put God or our connection to God in a
box. We need to learn His ways, His voice, and His intentions
through relationship and intimacy. By giving Him our night seasons,
we can choose to stay continually connected with Him even when our
mind is asleep. Go deeper into conversation with the Lord and begin
to better understand His heartbeat for you, especially in the night
seasons.
